It’s been a while since my wife and I had any Korean food. Last night, we decided to have dinner at Korea House in Sri Hartamas and we were not at all disappointed.
Upon reaching the first floor, we were greeted by this friendly Korean lady who ushered us in. To our surprise, the place was quite full. We must have come to the right place. Once inside, we were told to take off our shoes and sit on an elevated wooden floor. (Uh-oh… after a full day at work at the office, I wondered if my stockings would smell bad. Thankfully it did not.
).
We ordered our food… Bibimbap (mixed veggie and rice), some bean sprout noodle soup with rice and green tea.

Our table was soon filled with Korean vegetables and kim chi. I could’ve sworn we only ordered 2 dishes. I have to admit… it’s been a long time since I ate any meal sitting on the floor… it was a torture. Thankfully the food was excellent. It actually tasted as good as what we had when we went to Seoul 2 years ago.
We give Korea House
for it’s ambience, good food and resonable price.

Sounds like a decent, restaurant. Would love to try it too. Thanks.

Nice ambience yes but still prefer Dorae, also in Hartamas. If you know where Maybank is, – it’s on the same row, to the right if you’re facing Maybank. It occupies the 1st and 2nd floor. :p
Another one is Han Sung, same row with Maybank too but this time it’s left.

Interesting. I’ve seen that place a few times but I’ve never gone in – don’t know enough about Korean food.
